For out of office hours, please contact individual care homes.
We are pleased to soon be able to welcome visitors back to our Care Homes as the Government’s new rapid lateral flow C-19 test is made available to us. This new test is truly welcome as loved ones have not been able to meet properly for a long time, however its roll-out will take time. Throughout the coming weeks, Resident safety and infection control will remain our top priority. There will be a lot of family members wanting to visit Residents, so all visits will need to be pre-booked with your local Home and will be subject to local public health authority controls, the Home’s local circumstances and dynamic risk assessment. Please support our dedicated teams as they strive to balance visits with the continued smooth running of our Homes.

We encourage all of our residents to carry on with their own interests at the home and to also try something new if they wish. By having regular and varied activities every day, there's always something fun to try.
Our Activities
Taking part in stimulating activities is known to help improve appetites and sleep patterns, so that's why our activity co-ordinator does their very best to make sure that there's something interesting happening at the home every day of the week.
Some examples of the activities residents can take part in include quizzes and Bingo, arts and crafts, religious services and visits from local entertainers. We also hold a special themed event each month. So, for example, it could be a Harvest Festival meal, a Christmas party or fireworks on Bonfire Night. Other activities enjoyed by our residents include: Local community and charity events, the home is a 'Big Sing' winner plus regular trips out, to which friends and family are also welcome.
All our meals are homemade every day and often use seasonal ingredients to ensure that residents get fresh and healthy food. Personal preferences and diets are always taken into consideration when planning menus for our residents, as we appreciate that everyone's wants and needs are different.
There are 61 single bedrooms at Craigbank which have recently been refurbished and decorated to a high standard. All of our rooms come with en-suite bathroom facilities and some also have garden views too.
We want all of our residents to feel at home, so to help with that we suggest they bring along any personal items, ornaments or small items of furniture to have in their rooms with them.
