We are pleased to soon be able to welcome visitors back to our Care Homes as the Government’s new rapid lateral flow C-19 test is made available to us. This new test is truly welcome as loved ones have not been able to meet properly for a long time, however its roll-out will take time. Throughout the coming weeks, Resident safety and infection control will remain our top priority. There will be a lot of family members wanting to visit Residents, so all visits will need to be pre-booked with your local Home and will be subject to local public health authority controls, the Home’s local circumstances and dynamic risk assessment. Please support our dedicated teams as they strive to balance visits with the continued smooth running of our Homes.
Deanfield Residential and Nursing Care Home
Deanfield is a modern, two-storey home that has been specifically designed to meet the needs of residents. This means we're able to offer a range of care options, specialising in nursing and nursing dementia care.
We encourage all our residents to be as independent as they can be so they can lead as full and active life as possible. We also want them to feel at home, whether they're only with us for a short stay or a longer period. All our staff are experienced and highly trained and we spend the time talking to each resident when they arrive to make sure that their care plan is tailored specifically to their needs and wants.

Our Activities
From events inside the home to exciting and fun trips to local places of interest, Deanfield's in-house activity co-ordinator creates a programme of events and activities that is designed to appeal to everyone.
Everyday activities are proven to help the general well-being of our residents. Popular activities at the home include gentle exercises, arts and crafts sessions and regular visits from a variety of local entertainers. Our residents also enjoy: the mobile library, coffee mornings and afternoon teas, strong links with local church and regular days out.
We know that it's important to consider our residents' needs and any dietary requirements, so our experienced catering team makes sure that every meal they receive is both healthy and perfectly suited to their tastes and needs.

To make sure that all our residents have the highest level of comfort in the home, each of the 50 single ensuite bedrooms at Deanfield Care Home are attractively decorated to a high standard. All come with thermostatic radiators, a 24-hour call system and points for a TV and telephone.
