For out of office hours, please contact individual care homes.
We are pleased to soon be able to welcome visitors back to our Care Homes as the Government’s new rapid lateral flow C-19 test is made available to us. This new test is truly welcome as loved ones have not been able to meet properly for a long time, however its roll-out will take time. Throughout the coming weeks, Resident safety and infection control will remain our top priority. There will be a lot of family members wanting to visit Residents, so all visits will need to be pre-booked with your local Home and will be subject to local public health authority controls, the Home’s local circumstances and dynamic risk assessment. Please support our dedicated teams as they strive to balance visits with the continued smooth running of our Homes.
Elderslie Residential and Nursing Care Home
At Elderslie we pride ourselves on the high level of care we offer and the range of facilities and activities available to our residents.
Made up of four separate houses, Elderslie is conveniently located in the city of Paisley, and it's also on a well-supported bus route that enables residents to travel with ease to the surrounding areas – Glasgow is just 10 miles away.
There are gardens at the front and rear of the home, with fragrant lavender plants and a seating area at the front. The enclosed garden at the rear has raised herb gardens that green-fingered residents can help to cultivate.

With an in-house activity co-ordinator creating a range of enjoyable and stimulating activities, we make sure there's always something to keep our residents busy.
At Elderslie we've taken the time to plan an enjoyable and varied range of activities that are designed to suit the tastes and abilities of our residents. For example, we have our own cinema that shows a range of films weekly, as well as a well-stocked library. Friends and relatives are welcome at any time to enjoy the facilities and activities.
Other events at the home include regular quizzes, games, arts and crafts sessions, musical afternoons and a gardening club. Residents also enjoy such activities as monthly themed events, in-house cinema, as well as the home's extensive library
Our residents can choose from a varied menu of food, which includes hot and cold meals and a range of snacks.
We ensure every person's dietary requirements are met.
There are a total of 120 bedrooms at Elderslie across four separate houses. Each room has ensuite facilities, is well decorated and cleaned on a daily basis.
All four houses have a comfortable lounge and dining room, where residents can socialise or relax and watch television, if they wish.
