For out of office hours, please contact individual care homes.
We are pleased to soon be able to welcome visitors back to our Care Homes as the Government’s new rapid lateral flow C-19 test is made available to us. This new test is truly welcome as loved ones have not been able to meet properly for a long time, however its roll-out will take time. Throughout the coming weeks, Resident safety and infection control will remain our top priority. There will be a lot of family members wanting to visit Residents, so all visits will need to be pre-booked with your local Home and will be subject to local public health authority controls, the Home’s local circumstances and dynamic risk assessment. Please support our dedicated teams as they strive to balance visits with the continued smooth running of our Homes.
From Friday 10th July 2020, we are offering appointment slots to enable external visits by a nominated family member to those residents who are able to go outside. The nominated visitor has to be the one consistent visitor for several weeks, and so we are asking families to agree to this before arranging visits, as we do appreciate many residents have several family members who would wish to visit.
Please phone Goldielea to book an appointment, at least 24 hours in advance of the desired appointment, on 01387 730471.
There is a very strict process to go through to enable safe and socially distanced visiting, which we can go through with you either prior to the visit, or on the day of the visit.
We would like to thank you in advance for your understanding and co-operation in this first step towards the new “normal”.
