Our Homes Are Open And We Are Welcoming New Residents

We are pleased to soon be able to welcome visitors back to our Care Homes as the Government’s new rapid lateral flow C-19 test is made available to us. This new test is truly welcome as loved ones have not been able to meet properly for a long time, however its roll-out will take time. Throughout the coming weeks, Resident safety and infection control will remain our top priority.  There will be a lot of family members wanting to visit Residents, so all visits will need to be pre-booked with your local Home and will be subject to local public health authority controls, the Home’s local circumstances and dynamic risk assessment.  Please support our dedicated teams as they strive to balance visits with the continued smooth running of our Homes.

Welcome to Hammerwich Hall Residential Care Home

Hammerwich Hall is an impressive private building that has been extended and modernised in a sympathetic way to preserve many of the home's original features such as the high, corniced ceilings in the dining room. There are four unique lounges, one of which is a vintage tea room.

Thanks to our team of experienced and highly trained carers, we're able to offer a wide spectrum of care plans. As well as residential care, we can also provide convalescence, respite and pop-in day care. We also care for those aged between 50-65 with physical disabilities, as well as residents who have had a stroke.

Types of Care

Life at Hammerwich Hall Care Home

Activities and hobbies are an essential element of the daily routine at Hammerwich Hall, and our committed in-house activity co-ordinator will always try to find something fun for residents to do.

Our Activities

There is a wide range of activities and events to enjoy at Hammerwich Hall.  When a new resident arrives at the home we take the time to ask them about their hobbies and interests, and then they are free to choose what they'd like to take part in, whether that's a solo pursuit or one of our group activities.

Some examples of the activities that prove popular with our residents include sing-alongs, arts and crafts, Pets As Therapy visits monthly, progressive mobility, armchair aerobics, mental aerobics, pub lunches and trips out to the theatre to catch a show.
