We are pleased to soon be able to welcome visitors back to our Care Homes as the Government’s new rapid lateral flow C-19 test is made available to us. This new test is truly welcome as loved ones have not been able to meet properly for a long time, however its roll-out will take time. Throughout the coming weeks, Resident safety and infection control will remain our top priority. There will be a lot of family members wanting to visit Residents, so all visits will need to be pre-booked with your local Home and will be subject to local public health authority controls, the Home’s local circumstances and dynamic risk assessment. Please support our dedicated teams as they strive to balance visits with the continued smooth running of our Homes.
Haydale Residential and Nursing Care Home
Haydale is a modern, purpose-built home in Tollcross, a quiet suburb of Glasgow and just two miles away from the city centre. Situated on a local bus route and with a selection of shops only a short distance away, there are plenty of options for our more mobile residents to get out and about.
The home has three separate houses, each set up to offer a different level of care, meaning residents will be in exactly the right place for their needs.
Haydale also provides nursing care for residents with learning disabilities.

We give you the freedom to spend your time how you wish, whether that's quiet time on your own with a hobby or joining in with one of the many group activities.
Specifically designed to suit a wide range of tastes and levels of mobility, the activities on offer at Haydale range from making smoothies and light gardening to flower arranging and computer games (we have a Wii console at the home that proves very popular!). Those residents who would rather continue with or start their own hobbies are encouraged to do so, and our activity co-ordinator is on-hand to help out.
We have strong links to the local community and local entertainers visit regularly. Haydale is also part of the 'Eastend club', which is where all the residents from homes in the area get together to take part in shared activities.
Our catering team create tasty food with fresh ingredients. We cater for a wide range of dietary requirements, including cholesterol reduction, food intolerance and difficulty with chewing or swallowing.
The Haydale Care Home has 66 single bedrooms, and some have attractive views across the gardens. To ensure complete comfort and security for each of our residents, each room has a 24-hour call system, television and telephone points and a smoke detector.
There is an on-site laundry facility for the use of residents if they wish (although laundry services are provided for all residents) and all the rooms are thoroughly cleaned on a daily basis.
