For out of office hours, please contact individual care homes.
We are pleased to soon be able to welcome visitors back to our Care Homes as the Government’s new rapid lateral flow C-19 test is made available to us. This new test is truly welcome as loved ones have not been able to meet properly for a long time, however its roll-out will take time. Throughout the coming weeks, Resident safety and infection control will remain our top priority. There will be a lot of family members wanting to visit Residents, so all visits will need to be pre-booked with your local Home and will be subject to local public health authority controls, the Home’s local circumstances and dynamic risk assessment. Please support our dedicated teams as they strive to balance visits with the continued smooth running of our Homes.
Hill View Residential and Nursing Care Home
Our home is made up of five houses, each specialising in a different kind of care. Tower and Inanda House provide expert nursing care, while Ravenswood House offers residential facilities. Uladh and Dalmuir Houses specialise in nursing dementia care.
Each house provides a safe and secure environment where residents can feel completely at home. Our dedicated team of care assistants and registered nurses take time to get to know every resident, tailoring the care they provide to suit each individual. Our focus is on respect, dignity and quality of life.

We want our residents to lead as full and active a life as possible, and our dedicated activity co-ordinator ensures there's something fun and engaging for them to look forward to every day.
We take pride in our varied and inclusive activity programme and our staff are also aware of the importance of spontaneous gestures, such as sitting down for a chat about the weather, holding hands or enjoying the view. We take time to engage in one-to-one activities such as jigsaws, crosswords and reminiscence sessions – all great for keeping minds active. Our group activities – quizzes, bingo, film shows and music sessions – are a great way for residents to get to know one another.
Friends and family are also encouraged to pop along at any time and join in the fun.
We sit down to chat with all our new residents about their nutritional needs, tastes, special diets and preferences shortly after their arrival. We check regularly that such needs are being met. We also encourage feedback so we can continue to improve our food service.
All our bedrooms are brightly decorated, with comfortable furnishings and are cleaned every day. For added peace of mind each room is fitted with a smoke detector, thermostatic radiator and 24-hour call system.
We want all our residents to feel as at home as possible. We encourage them to personalise their rooms with their favourite ornaments, pictures and small items of furniture.
