For out of office hours, please contact individual care homes.
We are pleased to soon be able to welcome visitors back to our Care Homes as the Government’s new rapid lateral flow C-19 test is made available to us. This new test is truly welcome as loved ones have not been able to meet properly for a long time, however its roll-out will take time. Throughout the coming weeks, Resident safety and infection control will remain our top priority. There will be a lot of family members wanting to visit Residents, so all visits will need to be pre-booked with your local Home and will be subject to local public health authority controls, the Home’s local circumstances and dynamic risk assessment. Please support our dedicated teams as they strive to balance visits with the continued smooth running of our Homes.
Parklands Court Residential and Nursing Care Home
Parklands Court is made up of six separate houses designed specifically to suit our residents' needs. We are situated in the friendly suburb of Bloxwich, on the local bus route with two parks, a library and shops all within walking distance.
The layout and relaxed atmosphere is perfect for elderly residents, and we offer several kinds of care, including nursing, respite, palliative and convalescence care, as well as residential care for those living with dementia.
Each of our houses is surrounded by beautiful landscaped grounds with lovely patio areas and a wonderfully relaxing sensory garden.

A good activity program is a vital part of the care we provide. We try to ensure our residents have something interesting and fun to do every day.
At Parklands Court there are a range of activities, specially designed to reflect our residents' interests and abilities such as musical afternoons, games, quizzes, sing-a-longs, Pets As Therapy, religious services, gardening and baking.
We regularly organise outings to local places of interest, including Sandwell Valley Farm, local parks, shops and garden centres. If residents would prefer to stay at the home we also have a hairdresser and a cafe specially designed for residents with dementia.
Local entertainers often visit much to the delight of our residents and every month there's a special event linked to the season – like Mother's Day and Burns' Night. Friends and family are welcome to join in with any of our activities.
Mealtimes are an important part of our residents' day - a chance for them to get together and chat over a delicious, nutritious meal. Likes, dislikes and dietary requirements are discussed with every resident and our expert chefs use only fresh locally sourced ingredients.
At Parklands Court all our bedrooms are furnished to a high standard and include telephone and television points. Some bedrooms also boast wonderful views over the surrounding landscaped gardens and some rooms have an en-suite.
Residents are encouraged to bring their own keepsakes with them ornaments, photographs, even smaller items of furniture, room permitting. This helps make their room feel more homely.
