For out of office hours, please contact individual care homes.
We are pleased to soon be able to welcome visitors back to our Care Homes as the Government’s new rapid lateral flow C-19 test is made available to us. This new test is truly welcome as loved ones have not been able to meet properly for a long time, however its roll-out will take time. Throughout the coming weeks, Resident safety and infection control will remain our top priority. There will be a lot of family members wanting to visit Residents, so all visits will need to be pre-booked with your local Home and will be subject to local public health authority controls, the Home’s local circumstances and dynamic risk assessment. Please support our dedicated teams as they strive to balance visits with the continued smooth running of our Homes.
Rutherglen Residential and Nursing Care Home
Our charming home is comprised of four single-storey houses, each with its own landscaped garden, raised flowerbeds and seated patio areas with full wheelchair access. You can find us in the pleasant residential area of Rutherglen, close to picturesque Overtoun Park.
We want our residents to lead a full and active life, retaining as much of their independence as possible, in a safe friendly environment. However our care team is always on hand around the clock, providing assistance when it's needed. Our focus is on dignity, respect and quality of life.

Enjoyable and stimulating activities keep our residents' spirits high, give them something to look forward to as well as improving sleeping patterns and appetites.
We aim to find something fun and engaging for our residents to do every day. Our dedicated activity co-ordinator will help them pursue their own hobbies if they wish, or suggest an appropriate group activity.
Bingo, garden parties, painting and reminiscence sessions are all hugely popular, as are the regular visits from local entertainers. We also organise local community and charity events and themed monthly activities inside the home.
Friends and family are welcome to join in the fun – it's a great way to liven up visiting times.
One of our catering team meets each new resident when they arrive to find out what food they like and any they’d prefer to avoid. We will also go over any special dietary requirements before passing these details onto our chefs.
Many of our well-furnished bedrooms have delightful views over the surrounding landscaped gardens. All rooms are fitted with smoke detectors, thermostatic radiator and a 24-hour call system for added peace of mind.
Residents are encouraged to personalise their rooms with their own ornaments, pictures and small items of furniture.
