For out of office hours, please contact individual care homes.
We are pleased to soon be able to welcome visitors back to our Care Homes as the Government’s new rapid lateral flow C-19 test is made available to us. This new test is truly welcome as loved ones have not been able to meet properly for a long time, however its roll-out will take time. Throughout the coming weeks, Resident safety and infection control will remain our top priority. There will be a lot of family members wanting to visit Residents, so all visits will need to be pre-booked with your local Home and will be subject to local public health authority controls, the Home’s local circumstances and dynamic risk assessment. Please support our dedicated teams as they strive to balance visits with the continued smooth running of our Homes.

Support, friendship and shared interests are at the heart of our approach to care. That's why we try and make sure our residents have something engaging to do every day.
Our activity co-ordinator ensures there's plenty for everyone to enjoy, including table top games, bingo and quizzes. Reminiscence sessions allows our residents to share memories and emotions, often using objects or photographs.
We have on-site hairdressing, performances by local entertainers and frequent outings to local places of interest including Chester, the Maritime Museum and the safari park. Pub lunches and barge trips are also very popular.
We have links with the local church and religious groups. We hold seasonal events throughout the year, such as Pancake day, Bonfire Night and a summer fete that has proved a great success.
Mealtimes are an important part of life at Stonedale Lodge. Our experienced chefs use only fresh ingredients to create delicious meals that are well-balanced and nutritious. Residents' dietary requirements and personal preferences are carefully discussed upon arrival.
All of our 180 bedrooms are attractively-decorated with 24-hour call systems, smoke detectors, telephone and aerial points. Most have lovely views of the gardens and some offer direct access to the delightful patio area.
Our residents are encouraged to bring their own keepsakes and mementos to help make their rooms feel more homely. Ornaments, pictures and small pieces of furniture are all welcome.
