For out of office hours, please contact individual care homes.
We are pleased to soon be able to welcome visitors back to our Care Homes as the Government’s new rapid lateral flow C-19 test is made available to us. This new test is truly welcome as loved ones have not been able to meet properly for a long time, however its roll-out will take time. Throughout the coming weeks, Resident safety and infection control will remain our top priority. There will be a lot of family members wanting to visit Residents, so all visits will need to be pre-booked with your local Home and will be subject to local public health authority controls, the Home’s local circumstances and dynamic risk assessment. Please support our dedicated teams as they strive to balance visits with the continued smooth running of our Homes.
West Ridings Residential and Nursing Care Home
In our home each resident has an individual care plan designed to give them the best support possible. Our highly-trained team ensure residents have as much independence as possible, while getting the care they require.
We focus on dignity and quality of life in a warm and friendly environment. For each resident we create a Map of Life that details their experiences, likes and dislikes as well as their specific needs. This helps us tailor their care to suit them.
Our care assistants and registered nurses are available round the clock to help residents and give their loved ones peace of mind.

Fun and engaging activities are a vital part of the care that we provide. We try and make sure our residents have something enjoyable to do every day.
We encourage residents to continue their favourite hobbies or perhaps help them rediscover a long-forgotten pastime that might have fallen by the wayside. Group activities are a great way for residents to get to know one another and try something new.
Local entertainers often pop by to perform and meet our residents, and there are gardening and painting clubs that are very popular. There are also baking sessions and fun quizzes and games.
We also organise regular days out to local places of interest like stately homes, garden centres and the seaside. Residents also enjoy musical performances as well as group and individual pastimes, which family and friends are welcome to join in with.
Upon arrival a member of our catering team will be along to chat about any likes, dislikes as well as any special dietary requirements new residents may have. These details are then passed on to our team of expert chefs.
All our rooms are comfortable and spacious, decorated to a high standard with views over the lovely surrounding gardens. We want residents to feel as at home as possible. With this in mind they're encouraged to bring their own ornaments, keepsakes and even small items of furniture to make their bedrooms more homely.
